Building bridges between talent and the business world

Looking back at the 2nd Job Fair for people with a migrant background, at the University of Lausanne.

Looking back at the 2nd Job Fair for people with a migrant background! 🌟

We believe in bringing together people with a migrant background and the business world to foster professional inclusion and showcase everyone's skills. That is why we are delighted to contribute to this great initiative by Together Association, alongside the Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI) and the University of Lausanne (UNIL).

A day full of encounters and opportunities, with the Geneva Marriott Hotel, W Verbier and Decathlon among others, whom we thank for their commitment to more inclusive recruitment. 🤝

💡 Entrepreneurship as a lever for economic inclusion

During the conference, Hélène Bayeux shared one of Alter Start's strong convictions: entrepreneurship can also be a path to economic independence, when conventional employment does not always make full use of people's skills and experience.

She was joined by Alona Rieznichek and Kateryna Yarova, two entrepreneurs supported by Alter Start, who spoke openly about their journeys and the steps that led them to entrepreneurship.

Two different journeys, one message: becoming an entrepreneur when you arrive in a new country is not easy. But it is possible.

That is what this day was all about: creating connections, opening doors and bringing new opportunities to light. 🚀

Thank you to everyone who came to talk with us. The momentum continues!
